Looking Back on the Meet My Mentor Event

Looking Back on the Meet My Mentor Event

On Friday, October 17, from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., the Annecy campus hosted a brand-new edition of Meet My Mentor : an event dedicated to meaningful encounters between students and professionals, under the banner of listening, sharing, and inspiration.

Genuine and insightful conversations

Throughout the evening, mentors and students engaged in small-group discussions on a wide range of topics — from taking first steps in the working world to career choices, career changes, and the skills that truly make a difference today.

The format was designed to encourage open, pressure-free dialogue, allowing everyone to ask questions, express doubts, and receive practical advice. And your feedback says it all:

"What I loved was the closeness. You could really speak freely, without fear of being judged."
— Léna, 2nd-year student

Passionate and approachable mentors

We had the pleasure of welcoming professionals from a wide variety of fields: marketing, engineering, HR, entrepreneurship, design, and consulting. All of them showed up with generosity and authenticity.

"It's important to give back some of what we've learned on the ground. And I learned a lot, too, just by listening to the students’ questions."
— Sébastien, guest mentor

Their involvement was widely appreciated, with several participants leaving the event with a clearer vision of their future or new ideas to explore.

A professional yet friendly atmosphere

After the structured discussions, the evening continued with a relaxed networking aperitif. A perfect opportunity to keep the conversations going informally, forge new connections, and, who knows, lay the groundwork for future projects or collaborations.

Thank you all!

A big thank-you to all the mentors for their availability, to the students for their curiosity and energy, and to the organizing team for their warm welcome and seamless coordination.

📆 See you at the next edition of Meet My Mentor!
