"À feu et à sang"

"À feu et à sang" is a cinematic set in an alternate history version of the French Revolution, where the Dauphin Louis XVII returns to take revenge on the revolutionaries by unleashing the monstrous Beast of Gévaudan on Paris.

It is a short CGI film with a realistic style, created using Unreal Engine 5. The short takes place in an alternate version of Revolutionary Paris and draws inspiration from the technologies of the era to give it a steampunk aesthetic. Within this setting, we add more fantastical elements while striving to stay close to history by using altered versions of real historical figures, such as the executioner Charles-Henri Sanson. These elements help our universe stand out by offering an original backdrop for our story.
